The In-Between Jobs
You know the list. The curtains that need rehung. The couch you’d like scooted out so you can finally vacuum under it. The packages piling up by the door, and the kitchen that got away from you after company.
This isn’t handyman work, but it’s more than most cleaning companies will touch. They come to dust and vacuum, and they expect the house picked up before they get there.
So who do you call? Call me. You don’t have to be overwhelmed, you don’t need to justify the mess, and you certainly don’t have to clean beforehand! Just pick up the phone and let’s get going.
I grew up around Findlay and Fostoria, moved away for a while, and now I’m back here raising my five kids.
I started Tidy & Tackled in 2026 because I kept noticing how much it helps somebody just to have another pair of hands. It’s not only cleaning either. It’s the couch nobody can move by themselves, the bin that’s been sitting in the hallway since spring, the stuff that holds people up.
I saw it with my grandma. There was plenty she wanted done around the house, but that kind of help was hard to hire out.
So that’s what I do. Tell me what would help and we’ll start there. I charge by the hour so your time goes where you need it. I’m there every visit, and on bigger jobs Ricky and my daughter Ella come with me.
Working With You or on My Own
Make a list of what needs done, and we’ll get it Tidied and Tackled.
You don’t have to clean before I come. Some visits I work while you do your own thing, and some we work side by side. Either way’s fine by me.
Call or Text Me. Tell me what’s going on at your house and we’ll pick a day. I work Monday through Friday, 9 to 6.
Bigger Job? Show Me First. For a deep clean or a big project, send me pictures or I’ll swing by and look. Point out what you want done and what to leave alone, and I’ll tell you how long I think it’ll take.
Your First Visit. We’ll go over your list and start with what matters most. If we don’t finish, no big deal, we’ll get it next time. Payment’s due that day, cash or Venmo.
I'll give you a 30-minute arrival window, like 9:00 to 9:30. If anything changes, you'll hear from me before then.
A Regular is somebody I see every week, same day and same time. That spot is yours. Once your house is caught up, our visits go to the things you’ve been meaning to get to.
Need to move a visit? Give me 72 hours if you can, or 24 hours if you’re a Regular. Late changes may cost $50.
When a job’s too big for one person, or you’ve got a date you have to be ready for, my partner Ricky and my daughter Ella come with me. Company coming Saturday. A house that has to be ready to show. A move-out that can’t wait. Tell me what you’re up against and the day it has to be done, and I’ll tell you what it’ll take.
Ricky also runs his own handyman and yard business. If something on your list turns out to be a repair or outdoor work, ask me and I’ll point you to him.
Most visits run three hours, but sometimes you just need one thing handled. The fridge cleaned out. A couple loads of laundry folded. A bin carried up from the basement. Short visits work a little differently on price, so call me and we’ll figure out what makes sense.
Word of Mouth
I’m just getting started, so I’m still collecting reviews. Not everybody wants it known that they have help at home, or wants pictures of their house online, and I get that. If you want to talk to somebody I’ve worked for, ask me and I’ll set it up.
In the meantime, here’s a look at a couple of jobs.
Nope. Leave it how it is. Dishes, laundry, packages by the door, that’s what I’m coming for.
No. I clean, but I also do laundry, dishes, sheets, packages, decorations, and the stuff that’s been sitting there bugging you. If it’s on your list, put it on mine.
Yes. I’m there every visit. If it’s a big job or a tight deadline, my partner Ricky and my daughter Ella come with me so we get more done.
Three hours is my minimum, at $50 an hour, so $150. Regulars get 10% off. You’re buying my time, so you decide what I spend it on.
Happens all the time, especially the first visit or two. We’ll get the big stuff done and pick up where we left off next time.
Sure. Some folks hand me the list and go do their own thing. Some fold laundry while I do the kitchen, or talk my ear off while we work. All of it’s fine by me.
Up to you. I’m comfortable letting myself in and working while you’re out, and I’m just as happy if you’re home.
I bring my everyday stuff. If you’d rather I use your cleaners, set them out and I’ll use those. I do like to use your vacuum and mop when you have them, so I’m not dragging pet hair from one house to the next.
Pets are welcome to hang around while I work. Dogs, cats, birds, I like all of them. I don’t have a pet right now, but I’d take a dog in a second.
I’m in Findlay and I’ll go about an hour out. That covers Fostoria, Tiffin, Lima and everything in between. Farther than that, call me and we’ll see.
I’m usually booking about two weeks out. Ask anyway if you need something sooner, because openings do come up.
